Happy TGIF everyone! I'm so excited another weekend is upon us! I have a card to enter into a few challenges today before I head outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather :)
I jokingly told Diana of DL.ART that I didn't think cards could be made without using a Cricut, and I have to admit, I do have a hard time making them without using it. I've only had a Cricut for a little over two years and made tons of cards before, so I know it can be done. But wow, I'm so addicted to it! I actually was going to enter this into the My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Cricutless challenge, but just realized you were supposed to use the sketch, too and I didn't. Oops! Oh well, there's always next week... :)
For this Cricutless card, I embossed the black paper with the argyle Sizzix folder to mimic the design of the patterned paper from DCWV Glitter Stack. I inked the edges with black ink. I used McGill punches to make the flower, and the charm I had in my stash. The twine is from the Twinery and I used a Fiskars corner punch to make the tag. The gems were attached with my iRock.
I am entering the card in the following challenges:
Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday - Black/white and one other color
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #88 - Add a charm
Thanks so much for stopping by and the sweet comments! I truly appreciate them! Have a GREAT weekend :D
