Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of patriotic cards to share with you today featuring the new Baxter Pup 901 stamp set.
Isn't he adorable??!! I am so super-excited that Demo Donna used my card to create the June Video Kit available HERE from Sparkle N Sprinkle!!
To create the flag background, I used Super-Adhesive Sheets on cardstock and then covered one sheet with Gypsy Red glitter and another with Diamond Dust glitter. After brushing cardstock with a Anti Static Bag, I used Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the Sentiment with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Red Apple embossing powder.
I then cut the the papers into strips, attached Tear-ific Tape ½” to the back and layered them together.
Next, I covered a sheet of cardstock with Super-Adhesive Sheets and sprinkled on Blue Lightning glitter. The stars are an old punch and I used Tear-ific Tape 2” over cardstock and then covered them with Diamond Dust glitter.
After brushing cardstock with a Anti Static Bag, I used Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp Baxter Pup with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Black Detail. Baxter was then watercolored and cut out with a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval. Below, another Tonic Mixed Edge Oval was cut from cardstock covered with Super-Adhesive Sheets and then sprinkled with Liberty glitter. I then adhered Nuvo Golden Years Confetti stars.

Congratulations on having your card showcased in the video. It is so adorable with that sweet dog and beautiful shine and sparkle. I just had my issue with glitter and I'm not ready to tackle it again but I will use the tape to add it to cards from now on.

Oh WOW, Lisa! That's awesome that your card was the basis for the new kit! Congratulations! It's no wonder - just look at all that sparkly goodness!
