Kristal's newest stamps sets are LARGER sets -- perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more... For more details or to make one these sets YOURS, please click on the preview:
For my first project, I am using both the Pirate Tales & Fish Scales and Pirate Party sets.
I used my Gypsy to weld the card together from Pack Your Bags. For the mermaid from Pirate Party, I stamped her on glittery polka-dotted patterned paper and cut out her tail and bikini top. The adorable face is from the same stamp set. I used my iRock for her belly button gem. I attached all the sea critters with foam tape for dimension and added googly eyes. I used "tales of a mermaid" from the Pirate Tales & Fish Scales stamp set.
For my second project, I used Owly-Hoo and Winged Things. I have wanted to use this adorable owl from Camping Critters for a long time I embossed his belly with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. The green background is a Spellbinders Nestabilities die. I distressed the edges of the patterned paper and then inked it with Tim Holtz distress ink. The twine is from The Twinery. For the sentiment, I used Owly Hoo for "owl", "be", "you" and the heart. For seeing, I used Winged Things and created it by using three stamps and taping over the parts I didn't want to use.
I am entering this card in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Challenge #84 - For The Birds.
I have BLOG CANDY! I'm giving away a set of K Andrew Designs Coffee & Tea For You & Me stamps!!
