Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope you are having a great day!! I just realized I passed over 100,000 hits on my blog!! Thank you all so much for visiting me!! In honor of of that, how about a giveaway??!!
But first, two of my good friends are having challenges and I wanted to create something to enter into both. First is Karen at Little Scrap Pieces, and her challenge is "Winter". You can win some of her amazing crinkle ribbon with this challenge! The second is Janis at Pause Dream Enjoy. Janis is having a 52 Tags in 2012 challenge...you have to visit her blog to check this out! I love the concept (and Janis, I am going to try to keep up each week, but I make no promises ;) Each week is a different question or theme. This week, it is "What are your 2012 hopes, dreams, goals, resolutions" and you write your answer on the back of the tag.
I cut the tag from Picturesque at 6" and embossed it with the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. I distressed the edges and lightly inked them with walnut distress ink. The bottom edge is a Fiskars punch. The ice skater is from Winter Woodland and I added some ribbon and Ivory tulle for her skirt. The musical note tape is from Tim Holtz, as is the crystal tag on the bottom. The stamp is from K Andrew Designs Winged Things stamp set:

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... do you know how much I love this, Lisa? It took my breath away, for so many reasons! This is exquisite. The tulle is magical, as is the background. You seriously picked the ideal choices for everything! Night-sky blue, embossed with snowflakes, a dreamy starry flourish, and you have her skating along to music.. and you made her completely stand out with the white shadow. Yes, I just summarized your project! But I love every aspect so much. And I love the challenge, so I'm hopping over to follow and hopefully it's not too late to participate this week. I bet you know what I have in mind!

Well, I'm just guessing here, but I would say one of your hopes is that all that nasty snow you had will melt fast. We've been very lucky here in "Soda" as my family calls it. We've had a dusting here and there and that is just fine with me. (I hate snow, so much, except in the mountains).

Great giveaway! Lisa, did you hear that Google Friends Connect Follower gadget will end on March 2012 for blogs with less then 5000 followers. We will have to use Google plus to have others to follow ours blogs for blog candy giveaways. We all worked so hard to have all our followers and it will no longer be there :(
