Happy Easter!!

Just a few hours left to enter my
Blogaversary Giveaway!!

Happy Easter, everyone!! I hope you are having a blessed and happy day with your families!!

I'm home from my trip, albeit a bit injured. I was playing in the ocean with my niece and holding her hand while we jumped the waves (all day...I couldn't get her to leave!!). I didn't realize it at the time, but all that yanking on my arm tore something in my shoulder. It's incredibly painful and I can't even begin to lift it above my head. So, I'm one handed until it heals (hopefully without surgery). I hoped to catch up with all I've missed since I've been gone but that will be delayed a few days...I will stop by when I can. I wanted to get this posted so I wouldn't miss deadlines, but I will be short with the descriptions.

The bunny is from Noah's ABC Animals and I used paper from First Edition Spring Feast and cotton for the tail.

I used a plastic egg and covered it with all different flowers from Flower Shoppe, cut at 2".

The card base is a Spellbinders Label 4, embossed with the Plum Blossoms folder. The strip along the middle is a Spellbinders Lotus Borderabilities Petite, inked with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. The lacy deign is a Spellbinders Lace Doily Accents. The top label is a Spellbinders 23, embossed with Plum Blossoms and inked with Spun Sugar. The quote is from K Andrew Designs Scripture Sayings stamp set:

  2. Oh Lisa, I hope you didn't tear anything. I did that once and it took a full year to heal, my oldest daughter tore something in her shoulder and had to have surgery, but it healed pretty fast. Not a year, yeah!

You take care of yourself. Your bunny is adorable and the flower egg is beautiful!

I do hope you had a great vacation even though you got hurt. I will be praying hard for you.

I have a question for you, where do you get all of your spellbinders? It is wonderful to see you use them, I am seriously looking for a good deal on a grand calibur. I have some spellbinders, not near what you have, but always looking for more.

Once again sweetheart, take care of yourself.

    Hugs, Pam

  22. I am definitely keeping you lifted in prayer. That is not a good thing. I hope you go see a DR. and get a referral fro physical therapy that happened to my neighbor and even after 6 months of PT she still can not lift her arm as high as be4, but without it, it would have been worse. Take care my friend. hugs Diana

  27. Ouch Lisa! No, I really mean ouch! I know exactly how you are feeling with the bad shoulder. When I had that calcific tendonitis episode in my shoulder it was one of the worst types of pain I have ever had. I am feeling for you, know that! I hope it isn't anything that requires surgery and the pain can be eased quickly. You don't realize just how valuable your shoulder is until you can't move it! Washing/fixing your hair, forget it. Even getting dressed hurts. Oh I feel so bad for you Lisa! Please don't put off getting it looked at. I know I'm limited here but if there is ANYTHING at all I can do to help you out you let me know. I'll even send Shadow and Kiki to you if it would help you feel better! They cuddle really good!. ;)

Other than getting your arm torn off by kin, jumping around in the ocean sounds fun. I bet you have a nice base tan going! (Trying to keep you positive here...lol). Your project is just darling, I love that egg, it's really cool! You take it easy Lisa, don't push it with that shoulder. I'll be praying that you get some relief and get better soon!

I'm so sorry to read about your arm. Are you able to go for physiotherapy? I had a similar injury about two years ago and I cannot stress what a difference the physio and home exercises made (and no surgery!!) I do hope you heal quickly!

  38. Hey thank you sweetheart for all the information you gave me. I do shop online a lot! We have Michael's. JoAnns and Hobby Lobby here too. The problem I find myself in, is getting there. My husband will take me when I ask him but I hate to ask him. He does so much already to take care of me. But I am going to start paying better attention to JoAnns. Thank you Honey for helping me. All that typing was probably hard for you to do too.

    Hugs, big ones, Pam

  48. Lisa,

What a fun way to ...get hurt? Ok, I am not a doctor...but my advice is to alternate hot & cold 15 minutes of heat and then 15 minutes of ice and then go to just continuous ice and see if that helps.

Your project is just amazing! Do you know that I have Flower Shoppe and I haven't even tried it yet?

    Hugs,
