Paper Playtime #90 - Christmas Colors

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! It was so nice here for the first weekend in December...temps in the 60's and mild :) It's time for another fun challenge at Paper Playtime!! For this challenge, we are asking you to use Christmas colors in your project.

Our sponsor for this challenge is the Robin's Nest. One lucky participant will will a $15 gift certificate to shop.

The base of the card is kraft stock, the rest is from My Mind's Eye Merry and Bright stack. The edges are inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The ornaments are Tim Holtz Carved Ornaments #2 dies, with Tim Holtz Joy and Wish die inserts. They were popped up with foam tape for dimension. The tops of the ornaments were cut with metallic paper. The top swirl is a Tim Holtz Elegant Flourishes die, adorned with Recollections gems. The banner is a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner die, inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. "Merry Christmas" is from K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes stamp set. The ribbon is from May Arts, inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
  2. DL.Art Thankful Thursday Challenge - Anything Goes
  3. Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - Make it Sparkle

  55. My sweetest friend, I cannot tell you the JOY I'm feeling right now! I am so happy to finally be here to visit you, where your marvelous creations sparklify my heart more than you know. :o) I hope I never get that bogged down again.. it breaks my heart to stay away from here for so long. :(

And now, about this masterpiece.. it is GORGEOUS! :o) What stunning ornaments, my dear friend. I love the reversed paper usage between them and their sparkling trims. :o) Having them dangle from a flourish is pure brilliance and it saddens me that I didn't think of that. :o) Hehe! The inked ribbon is so beautiful, as is that sparkle-accented sentiment. Your work is always stunning, my dear Lisa. Thank you for not giving up on me when I cannot get to Blogger as I'd like. I am so thankful for you.

    Hugs and blessings!
