Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - Birthday

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! The sun is actually shining today after days of overcast, snowy skies :)

Friday means it's time for a Fun Friday Challenge at Little Scrap Pieces. The theme this week is Birthday. What an awesome theme...I always need birthday cards in my stash :)

The base of the card is heavyweight cardstock from Canvas Corp. The rest of the paper is from Basic Grey's Out of Print stack. All of the cuts are Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles except for the banner, which is a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner Die. All of the layers are popped up with foam tape for dimension. The banner was inked with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. Happy Birthday is from JustRite Stamps Shabby Chic Labels Four stamp set. The ribbon is from May Arts.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says Stamp - A Bit O' Green
  2. JustRite Friday Challenge #92 - Make it Pop
  3. BasicGrey Challenge #88 - Anything Goes
  4. DL.Art - March Linky Party
  5. Sunday Funday #7 - March Linky Party
  6. Craft It Up & Link It Up - Linky Party
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Little Scrap Pieces to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Birthday project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

My sweetest friend, this is such a beautiful birthday card! The combination of colors and patterns is astounding and so celebratory. :o) The layers are gorgeous and I'm always a huge fan of wispy bows! The yellow layer is an especially lovely design, but even more so since you placed it atop such a dark base. It pops to perfection! Beautifully crafted as always, my dear Lisa! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! :o)

Hugs and blessings!
