Just Because You Are So Special

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a fabulous week!! I can't believe the first day of summer is only two days away!!


I have a card to share with you today, using the JustRite Friday Challenge Sketch (see below).


The green papers are from My Mind's Eye. The base and next layer were cut with Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics A & B. The edges were inked with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink. The white paper is heavyweight paper from Canvas Corp. It was embossed with the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Enchanted Embossing Folder and popped up with foam tape for dimension.


The next layer is a Spellbinders Labels 17 die, inked with Peeled Paint on the edges. The cattails are a Spellbinders D-Lite die, stenciled with Peeled Paint. The sentiment strip is a Card Creator Matting Basics B die. The butterflies are from the Spellbinders Jewel Flower and Flourishes set. The sentiment is from the JustRite Grand Sentiments stamp set, stamped in Versafine Onyx. The lace along the bottom is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, inked with Peeled Paint.

    My sweetest friend, this is gorgeous! Can you give it to yourself from me since you're so very special to me? :o) Honestly though, this is absolutely beautiful. The greens are so earthy and perfect for a card highlighting nature. The distressing is perfect and I crazy love those cattails!
