Craft It Up & Link It Up - Red, White or Pink

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Darn Punxsutawney Phil for seeing his shadow...six more weeks of this horrible winter weather :/

It's time for another fun challenge at Craftin Desert Divas. Our theme this week is Red, White or Pink. Our sponsors are:KaDoodle Bug Designs with $15 gift certificate and CardzTv with a stamp set.

For my card, I used papers from My Mind's Eye. The edges were distressed with a Zutter Distress-It-All.

The frame is a Tim Holtz Ornate Frame die. It was cut four times in heavyweight cardstock from Canvas Corp., and the layers were adhered together. The burlap ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The crinkle ribbon is from TH's Idea-ology line.

The letters in love were cut from a TH Block Talk die. They were cut twice and then offset for a shadow effect.

The flowers are Spellbinders D-Lites Blooms One. I can't remember where the frosted gems in the center came from.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1. Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Love Notes
2. Every Day is an Occasion - February Linky

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Craftin Desert Divas to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge, then Craft It Up & Link It Up!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

  22. My sweetest friend, this is gorgeous! (Do I always start your comments like that?!) I ADORE that paper and wish I had it. This card is certainly flourished in love... every detail. The frame is beautiful, as is the 'love' that is captured within it. I always appreciate that you offset your die cuts when appropriate so they stand out. The flowers are so whimsical and your layered trims are marvelous. Amazing work on this beautifully finished card (inside and out), my dear Lisa! I do hope Phil was wrong and we get spring soon... this has been one harsh winter. (Is it too sappy for me to say your friendship has warmed my heart throughout?!) Have a sparkly night, my dearest friend! :o)

    Hugs and blessings!
