Fairy Whispers

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I can't believe February is almost over. I swear, this year is absolutely flying by. My three year blogaversary is coming up in a couple of weeks - wow, three years!! I will be having a giveaway to celebrate so be on the lookout for a chance to win :)

I have a project to share with you today re-purposing a glass jar. I love the shape of this jar...it used to hold my favorite Marzetti Gorgonzola Salad Dressing that I can't find in the stores anymore :(

I covered the jar in Ranger Glue and Seal and then wrapped it with white tissue paper. Once it was dry, it was brushed with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress Stain and Ink. The flowers were inked with the Spun Sugar as well.

I love this stamp from Glitz. I purchased the Afternoon Muse stamp set specifically for this stamp a couple of years ago and then never got around to using it. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx ink on tissue paper and added it to the jar with Glue and Seal.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. 2 Creative Chicks - Repurpose Glass
  2. Little Scrap Pieces - Anything Goes
  3. DL.Art - February Linky
  4. Every Day is an Occasion - February Linky
  5. Just B Creative Crazy - February Linky
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  8. Beautiful! I can just imagine my granddaughter's thoughts on this beautiful jar - her imagination would surely take flight. I know she would have it outside under the trees and would come inside telling me she really could hear the fairies whispering to one another. This is just magical my friend!

  17. My sweetest friend, this is truly exquisite! I LOVE repurposed jars/bottles and it's not surprising that your project is already a favorite of mine. :o) The stamp is gorgeous and you've designed so brilliantly around it, matching the theme to perfection. So wispy, airy, delicate, and sweet. The pearls and ribbon (and the plethora of sweet flowers) are some of my favorite parts. Now I have to make time to play with a jar! ;) You are always so inspiring. :o) Stunning work as always, my talented friend! :o)
