Happy Saturday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Divas blog and I have a springy card to share with you today featuring sentiments from Tara's Summer Lovin' stamp set!!
When I think of spring, I think of flowers, sunshine, butterflies and bike rides. I tried to recreate that feeling with this card :)
I used several dies to create the scene. The Gas Lamp Sign Die is from Die-Versions (have you seen the new April Back to Basics 2 release?? The new dies are gorgeous!! Click HERE to see what's new!!). The bike is from Marianne Designs, the grass is from My Creative Time and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The stitched flag die and sun are from Lil' Inker. Fun in the Sun is from Summer Lovin' as is...
...A Day For Play. For this one, I masked off the words to stamp it vertically. Look at all the fun sentiments and fonts on this set:

What a GORGEOUS card! Wow, the background is beautiful and just love the scene! The bicycle is awesome and wish I could jump on my bike right now,lol! Can you believe it, it is trying to snow-aaaw, thought we were over that? At least the temps are in the 40's, it won't stay! On our way out the door to shop...yeah!

My sweetest friend, this truly does epitomize the joy in Spring! I LOVE bike dies/cut files and yours is so beautiful. I particularly love that you added WOC blooms to the basket, which I'm sure doesn't surprise you. It's just a natural fit. :o) The sign looks amazing, as does the button-centered sunshine! I love how you incorporated multiple sentiments. And I'm crazy about those precious teeny tiny butterflies! This card is a delight and a joy... and I hope it makes you smile today. :o) It made ME smile and I wish we could go on a bike ride together today! The only thing missing is a quaint little town to ride in and stop for a nice picnic lunch. Creative Bliss Dear...

ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm a little behind on comments. We just got back from a spontaneous vacation. It was spring break last week and we hadn't planned anything and at the very last minute we said lets take the boat over to Catalina. We had a GREAT time, PERFECT weather couldn't ask for anything better!

This is so Awesome!!!!!. I love it, I love it! I love it!!- I want to go ride a bike now. I gave my bike to a homeless person so he would have transportation. Maybe I will get another one.
