CDD May Release Sneak Peek Day 5 - Celebrate Freedom

Welcome to Day 5 of our Craftin Desert Divas May stamp release party!! I hope you've been able to follow along all week with the amazing projects the DT have created for this release!! We are super excited to share with all of you the third release of the Craftin Desert Divas stamp line!!

Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the five new stamp sets. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. The design team has some amazing creations to start this stamp release party. We also have 2 guest designers Glora from Glora's Craft and Jessica from Too Cute by Jessica will be joining in the fun too.

Today we are showcasing the Celebrate Freedom stamp set.

All of the new stamps are 4x6 for $13.99 and are Made in the USA. Stamps will be available to order on Saturday.

We have a new store Craftin Desert Divas Shop and a Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook group. We would love for you to join us and share your creations with us using Craftin Desert Diva's stamps. In this group we show previews first, have giveaways and much more!!

Here's my project:

I used the "My Country 'Tis of Thee" stamp for my card. I love the designs of this set!! The papers are from Bo Bunny's Anthem stack. The edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA.

The banners along the top are Spellbinders Nested Pennant dies. The bottom banners are Taylored Expressions Nested Banner dies. The stars were fussy cut from the paper.

The USA cut is a Taylored Expressions Stars and Stripes die. It was cut twice, once in patterned paper and once in black. It was popped up between layers for a little added dimension. The sentiment was heat embossed with Recollections Blaze Embossing Powder. It's gorgeous in person - a red and gold combo that really sparkles :)

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art - May Linky
  2. DL.Art - Red, White & Blue
  3. Just B Creative Crazy - May Linky
  4. Really Reasonable Ribbon - Patriotic w/Ribbon
  5. Cuttin' and Stampin' Weekly Challenge - Memorial Day

Hope you have a great weekend planned. Last weekend was an end of year baseball party for my oldest son. They didn't make playoffs and now that he's in college... Not making playoffs becomes extremely sad :( I guess there's next year! This weekend is end of year soccer parties for my youngest. Busy times, but fun!
