CDD August Stamp Release Sneak Peeks - Day 3


Today is Day 3 of the August stamp release at Craftin Desert Divas. We have four new stamp sets in this release. Day 4 sneak peeks are going to be a larger 5x7 stamp set!! These images and sentiments will also come with a matching SVG cut file that is FREE to you.

There are a few specials during this release we want to share with you:
  • Every purchase receives a FREE Too Cute by Jessica SVG pattern made especially for this release.
  • Any minimum 2 Stamp purchase will receive a FREE mini stamp.
  • Both stamp & pattern will be revealed during the hop.

Welcome to Day 3 of Craftin Desert Divas August stamp release!! Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the four new stamp sets. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. There are some amazing creations being shared today during this stamp release. We also have some special guest designers who will be joining us.

Today we are showcasing the Capture the Good Times stamp set.

We have (3) 4x6 and (1) 5x7 stamp sets.
Made in the USA.
Stamps will be available to order on Saturday.

Here is my sneak peek project ....


For my project, I made a camera-themed canvas, using stamps from the awesome new CDD Capture the Good Times stamp set and lots of Tim Holtz products. The background canvas was covered with paper from TH. The four panels were covered with a mixture of Tea Dye, Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress Inks. TH stencils were used as well.


Life is Like a Camera was stamped on a Spellbinders Snapshot die. It was heat embossed with black and white embossing powder and covered with Glossy Accents.


Focus On What's Important was also heat embossed.


Capture the Good Times was stamped on a Spellbinders Postage Stamp die and heat embossed.


Develop from the negatives was also heat embossed. The two cameras are also from the CDD Capture the Good Times stamp set.


And the final sentiment was also heat embossed. I just love this phrase and wanted to create something to tie all of the sentiments together :)

I love how you used so many sentiments and incorporated a plethora of TH product! Each panel is fantastic on its own, and combine to create such a unique canvas. Such a clever use of this set, my dearest Lisa! I cannot choose a favorite section, as I love them all. :o)

    I ADORE all the fun details on each panel. WOW! This is AWESOME!! The little camera and sentiment is so PERFECT. Only you would make something like this!! These last couple of days I focused and thought about the sentiment " focus on what's important" . I love this!!

Total perfection...another fantastic and clever project...wow...my daughter would love this being a photographer and all...I might have to look into this set for her (and me too)...I am making her a shadow box of camera things and this set would work wonderfully for what I am doing!!
