Capture the Good Times - Picture Perfect

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a fabulous week!! It's my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Divas blog and I project with you today featuring the CDD Capture the Good Times stamp set.


For this card, I used papers from Prima's Free Spirit paper stack. The edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA. The frame is a Die-Versions Smile Sweet Frame. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension. The button on the twine is a Die-Versions Wee Petites Button die.


I also had to use one of the adorable piggies from the CDD Just Pigcause stamp set!! Isn't she just picture perfect??!! She was paper pieced with just a touch of pink Prismacolor pencils.

    This is SO CUTE! A pig in a frame, to do for :) The colors are awesome. So often cards with pigs have the kidsy barn colors, which are cute - but I get sick of, and this really went in a new and fun direction.

    Definitely cute as a pig! Loved the way you've done the dots paper piecing and added the pencil coloring. It's a delightful image enclosed in that frame, and of course, the nice touch of the distressed edges. The twine bow was perfect with this little piglet. I liked the sentiment with this image.     My sweetest friend, you chose the perfect die for your piggy because this card makes me smile so brilliantly! I love the polka dot paper piecing with the hint of pink pencil and how you nestled her in the frame. :o) The bright and cheerful papers are picture perfect for this! (See what I did?! Hehe!) The twine bow is so beautiful. :o) And I confess, if you don't stop with all this DIA'ing, you're gonna make me beg Santa. ;) Gorgeous creation as always, my dearest friend!     Oh my friend! I'm in love with this little piggy, your paper piecing is impeccable - I struggle with cutting on the lines :) My Kindergarten teacher would not approve :) HAHA! I love it Lisa, the colors and the twine are fantastic!
