Happy Wednesday!! It's time for another super-fun Scrapy Land Blog Challenge!! Thank you all who participated in making our first challenge a huge success!! This week, the theme is Heat Embossing. We want to see your projects using any brand of dies that Scrapy Land carries (there are over 40) and heat embossing. You could win a gift certificate to Scrapy Land!!
For my project, I created an anniversary for my parents...it's not until November so I'm ahead of the game (for once!!). The papers are from My Mind's Eye Pretty Things stack. The edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA.
The banners were cut with Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 1 dies. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Memory Box Floral Vines were cut with vellum and tucked among the blooms.
Spellbinders Opulent Ovals were used for the base of the sentiment. Happy is a Die-Versions Sweet Hearts Happy Birthday die. I just cut the happy from the heart. Anniversary is a Die-Versions Sweet Wordlet Anniversary die. They were both cut in cardboard and heat embossed with Sparkle and Sprinkle Frosted Juniper Embossing Powder - love it!! The words were also cut in black and offset for a shadow effect.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1. DL.Art - September Linky
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Heat Embossing project using a die that Scrapy Land carries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)
