♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥ all of my sweet friends!! I hope you have fun plans for this day celebrating ♥ lo♥e ♥ !! (Can you tell I just learned how to make the pretty red hearts??!!) It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have two last Valentine's Day cards to share with you. I dedicate them to all of you :) ♥
I used papers from My Mind's Eye Love Me collection for both cards.
The hearts were cut with Die-Versions Wee Petites Heart Doodles dies. I popped up the first layer of paper with foam tape so the hearts would have some dimension. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Banner Sentiments stamp set and it was heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
Here's the same card with different papers. Gosh, these are CAS for me...or as CAS as I seem to be able to manage ;)
The ribbon is from May Arts and the button is a Die-Versions Wee Petite Button die.
I used the hearts that were cut from the front to decorate the inside of the cards.
I am entering these in the following challenges:
1. DL.Art - February Linky
2. Little Scrap Pieces - Show it Off Saturday
3. Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Valentine's Day
Thanks so much for stopping by!! ♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥

My sweetest friend, how I have missed leaving you sparkly love! Happy Valentine's Day to you! (I LOVE the red hearts!) Your cards are truly lovely... I adore the dancing hearts! (That's what I'm calling them! Hehe!) They are so beautiful and whimsical and perfect for a more streamlined design. I love your paper choices for each and the dimension adds such definition. The heat-embossed sentiments are gorgeous and the wispy ribbon is fluttering in love. :o) Wonderfully done, my dearest Lisa!
ReplyDeleteYou already know why I've been MIA and that it will continue indefinitely... gosh it breaks my heart. Thank you for always being my biggest cheerleader and supporter in all things! My mom and I thank you for your prayers! As soon as we are both healed up, I'll be back to crafting, blogging, and leaving you sparkly love. It feels like an enormous part of my life is missing now, but that will make my eventual return even sweeter. Always know how much I love you! We'll keep in touch, of course. :o) Have a beautiful day, my sweetest friend.
Hugs and blessings,
Karen
