DL.ART Thankful Thursday #170 - Green & Red or Blue & White

Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for another Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART. The challenge this week is Green & Red or Blue & White...your choice.


I couldn't decide between green and red or blue and white, so I created one of each. It also gave me the opportunity to use my Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamps/dies :)


I think the papers are from Recollections' Jolly & Bright paper stack, but I'm not positive. I inked the edges of this one with Broken China Distress Ink. This guy was colored with Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Markers and a TH Waterbrush. The glasses, candy cane and Santa hat are from the Crazy Things stamps and die sets. I used glossy accents on the glasses and glitter on the hat. The trees are a Die-Namites Winter Trees die. The snowflakes are Impression Obsession Small Snowflake dies. The gorgeous ribbon is Aruba Blue from Diana's Tropical Summer bundle. The tag and sentiment are from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).


This guy was colored with Fired Brick and Barn Door Distress Markers and a TH Waterbrush. The Santa and reindeer die is from Impression Obsession. This beautiful ribbon is Six Fathoms from Diana's The Mermaid's Tale First Edition.

    These are two very funny cards, Lisa!! And such a beatiful colouring on them! The glossy accent looks great! And the beautiful bows are really a catch-eye! Love the reindeers with the sleigh and the trees! Fab work!

    Oh my word....These crazy birds make me giggle! These are so fun! I love everything about your cards! The backgrounds look fabulous! I have contemplated several times on getting these dies/stamps from Tim Holtz but just haven't! The stores around here haven't had them in stock either :( I need to order these guys~love them!
