Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a great week!! It was in the 70's this past weekend...had the windows open and everything...it totally felt like Spring was on the way. Today we have snow and cold and yuck, Winter. I'm not happy with Mother Nature at the moment ;) It's time for another Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART!! The theme this week is Frogs or Green.
With St. Patty's Day just around the corner, I decided to go Green :) The papers are from Annabelle's Garden from Wild Rose Studio. The edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA. The sentiments are from My Creative Time's I Believe in Leprechauns set, stamped on a My Craft Spot (no longer in business) Ribbon Banners Straight die.
This gave me the chance to use Twisted Citron Distress Ink for the first time. I inked all of the edges and used it to color the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily. The four-leaf clover was created with the stitched hearts from My Creative Time's You Touched My Heart set.
The gorgeous ribbon is Green Hue from Diana's The Mermaid's Tale Third Edition. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves are Impression Obsession Open Scroll Vine dies.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
2. Emerald Creek Dares - Bring on the Green
3. 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
4. Pause, Dream Enjoy Linky - Anything Goes
5. Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
6. Little Scrap Pieces Show It Off Saturday - Anything Goes
7. Creative Knockouts #130 - Go Green
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to DL.ART to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Frogs or Green project!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

ReplyDeleteIsn't it terrible what Mother Nature is doing! Geez... you were in the 70's then got snow! YUCK indeed! I'd be upset too! Thankfully for me, I live some place that, that would rarely ever happen - I don't miss the snow that's for sure! :) Sending you WARM HUGS!! :) Now, your card is very Spring like and oh so pretty! I just adore the different shades of green - really brings those winter blues to shame! Love it Lisa! Have a great day! :)

Have a super weekend/week and I will catch up as soon as we return!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I just love the citron ink, it's so pretty! The dimension and details are always amazing on your cards!
ReplyDeleteHope you are well my friend! I've still been busy organizing all my crafty things and it's been quite a task - HAHA. We've decided to use a small room off our Master for my paper crafting. It's really small so it has to be efficient. We had hardwood floors installed and bottom cabinets installed and still haven't decided on stone or wood for the counter top so that's holding up the upper cabinets :( I've really scaled down and it seems like I still have so much! Your weather sounds like ours - we hit 80 the other day.
Enjoy your day my friend!
Shelly
