I know I say this about every new release, but this one is my very favorite ever!! The Whispers Holy Cross die is so beautiful. You can't tell in the picture, but the cross is covered with Crystal Ice Glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle. I popped it up with foam tape for dimension. The papers are from Prima.
I used the new Whispers Stitched Nesting Circles for the sentiment. Happy is a Sweet Wordlet die. Easter is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the gorgeous ribbon is from Little Scrap Pieces. The button is a Wee Petites Button die.
I tried to get a close-up of the amazing sparkle. I am entering this in the following challenges:

Wow, is it that time already? tee hee. This is beautiful Lisa. I love that fact that you used these dark rich tones, it's such a switch from the pastels you normally see for this holiday. I love the stitched edges, it's a small detail, but it adds so much to the design. What a stunning Easter card, you rock every holiday you design for!! hugs :)

ReplyDeleteHope you had a great weekend! I was wanting to get in my craft room a bit more~we celebrated Lacy's 1st birthday even though her actual b/day isn't til Wed. We had a great time and she was as cute as can be! Still can't believe she is 1! We are getting things ready to leave bright and early Fri for the snowmobile trip! We just got 5 in of new snow, so it should be fun riding!

It's a fabulous die, and it's rare to find the religious themed items like this. I had seen this die and because I already had so much in the cart, didn't add it. You've used it most magnificently with these seasonal colors, and of course the aged patina look of the white with those fabulous layers. And as always, the lush, rich elegance of the ribbon bows & flowers. I was just thinking I need to start on some Easter cards. One of the most beautiful I've seen. TFS & Hugs

I love how awesome your sticthing looks on your cards. That is next on my to do list 1st coloring and now stitching on my cards. I do own a sewing machine and do have sewed too.
