Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! Spring is in the air here...the temps are warming up and the daffodils are blooming :) It's time for a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART. The theme this week is Easter. If you use the code l01210, you'll receive 10% off your order at DL.ART.
These are about as CAS as it gets for me. When I was planning out my cards, I pulled out all the supplies, prepared to layer these babies up. You know how much I love flowers!! Well, I selected these beautiful Maja Designs Summer Crush papers and I love how the rays highlight the crosses. I thought it represented the meaning of Easter...Jesus rising from the dead. So I just couldn't cover them up :)
The crosses are Spellbinders Shapeabilities Crosses 2 dies. I layered two together, popping each layer up with foam tape. The gorgeous ribbon is Silvery Hue Sea from Mermaid's Tale Second Edition.
This beautiful ribbon is Pure Love from The Valentine Bundle. The tab is a Spellbinders Address Book die. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1. Djkardkreations NBUS #6 (3rd Entry) - New Papers and Cross dies
2. Pause, Dream Enjoy Linky - Anything Goes
3. Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
4. Little Scrap Pieces Show It Off Saturday - Anything Goes
5. 2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
6. Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to DL.ART to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Easter project!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

After being in the the 80's all last week, it's hard to come home to these temps. lol! At least it's not snowing!
I am really having a hard time getting back in the swing of things, Ugh! Did I mention I am on Jury Duty til mid April? Also, my daughter and hubby just bought a new home~they are 5 doors down from us, eeek! No, just kidding! Arya will find her way over I'm sure, hehe! Anyway, so now we will be helping them one way or another until they move. Always something, lol! At least it's before summer is in full swing~have a lot planned!

My sweetest friend, these are stunning! This is the perfect design to make a CAS design really not seem so CAS. The rays of divine love reach straight into our hearts, reminding us of all that encompasses Resurrection Day. The crosses are gorgeous and of course your cascading ribbon is complete perfection. I love how you used pretty tabs for the sentiments and sweet polka dots for the layer... sunrays and sunbeams! :o) Gorgeous work, my dearest Lisa! Have a sparkly sweet weekend. :o)

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing the message of Easter.
ReplyDeleteThese cards are gorgeous! Love the distressed look. We are so blessed with your participation in our previous Challenge and would love to have you back for our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I want to share with you the inspiration of God's Word from Habakkuk 2:3-4 and it says, " For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness---." Have an awesome week!
