Happy Monday and happy spring...or fall for all my southern hemisphere friends!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a seasonal project to share with you today :)
I know it's the second day of spring, but I'm actually getting a head start on my Christmas projects :) I made some Christmas cards and a gift box to hold them. I used beautiful Authentique Festive Christmas papers sent by one of my oldest and sweetest and dearest blog friends, Sherrie of Sherrie Scraps With Passion!! We both started our blogs about the same time and have been friends from the beginning :) The sparkly Merry Christmas tape along the bottom of the box is also from Sherrie. Thanks again for everything!!
For the cards, I used the new Whispers Angel of Peace dies. I popped them up with foam tape for dimension. The circles are the new Whispers Stitched Nesting Circles dies. They were also popped up with foam tape.
The sentiments are Sweet Wordlets Peace on Earth and Sweet Wordlets Believe dies. The buttons on the ribbons are a Wee Petites Button dies.
For the gift box, I used a Whispers Madonna Ornament. The sentiment is a Sweet Wordlets Merry Christmas die. Another Wee Petites Button die was used on the ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

Great job on your upcoming Christmas cards Lisa! They are all beautiful, I don't even want to think about that season yet... Seems like it was just recent it was just Christmas, LOL!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, WOW, you have been busy Lisa my friend!! It must have taken you ages to make all these fabulous designs . . . the work and detail you put into all your creations is truly remarkable!! I wish I had a fraction of your artistic talent, but alas, if I were to put more than two or three elements on a creation it would end up looking like I had spilled the contents of my rubbish bin and not the outstanding pieces of art you come up with time and time again . . . I am in awe my friend!! Have a very lovely week! Hazel xx

wow! Lisa, your Christmas silhouette cards and matching box are gorgeous! What a fantastic idea - and such an "updated" contemporary look with a traditional feel. I especially like that you have incorporated those beautiful ribbons and flowers - something Mary is known for around the world. I love that you have chosen a red/green them but changed the colors from the old-fashioned fire engine red and pine green! Beautiful, Miss Mermaid! (BTW, your sweetness glows lovingly thru these creations). hugs, de
