DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #198 - Pink and/or Red

Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART and the theme this week is Pink and/or Red. We want to see your projects using the colors red, pink or both!! If you use the code l01210, Diana will give you 10% off your purchase at DL.ART!!


For my cards today, I chose to use red and pink :) The papers are from Prima. The borders are Die-Versions Whispers Heart Borders.


The hearts are Spellbinders Scalloped Hearts and Hearts dies. Love is from My Creative Time. Beneath the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Sue Wilson Mosaic Leaves and Memory Box Chloe Stem dies.


The hidden tag behind the heart pulls out so you can write a special message :) This beautiful crinkle ribbon is Red Hot Love from is The Valentine Bundle.


This gorgeous ribbon is Sweet Love from The Valentine Bundle.

    Love love LOVE EVERYTHING about your beautiful cards, Lisa! The darker scallop frame against the paler "plain" heart, really makes your heart sweet and artistic!     Beautiful cards Lisa! The pattern papers are so pretty and how clever to add a hidden tag! Super fun idea! The scallop heart and love look fabulous and the heart border is got to go on my wish list, lol! The flowers and ribbon are amazing and placed perfectly! Love these~

    It has been super cold here the past 2 days, dipping down to 20 below. Although today got to a whopping 13 degrees, ugh! We are looking at temps in the 30's though this wknd~yeah, break out the flip flops, haha just kidding! I just got back after spending some time back home again. We have a little get together for Miss Lacy on Sat for her birthday and then I am hoping to hide in my craft room a little on Sunday which I desperately need.

    oooh gosh, how wonderful your two cards are! I love red and pink together. I always heard that redheads should not wear pink but I am pretty sure it can go pretty well when the redhead is the sort of "dark" redhair, more like auburn and a little tanned skin :) Ha ha ha, typically me - comes from red and pink cards to redheads wearing pink stuff :)

    I must sound like a broken record when you're reading my comments. I feel as if I always end up saying the same things over and over again. Well that's because I truly feel that every card you make is gorgeous, beautiful, incredible, shabby, etc, etc. These are no different, I love them both. Soft and feminine, bold and romantic, vintage and shabby, dimension and interest. You never fail to make me swoon and drool!! You truly are an inspiration to me Lisa!

    Hope all is well with weather, health and family. We've finally had some snow yesterday so I spent the day outside taking pictures. Good thing I did, because it's mostly all gone this morning. The squirrels are shedding their winter fur and I fear it may be too early for that yet. Thinking of you, have a great week my friend :)
