For My Sweet Friend for Wild Orchid Crafts

Happy Thursday, everyone!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog and I'd love for you to stop by if you have time :) I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring several Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and embellishments.


For my friendship cards, I used papers from 49 and Market's Cottage Life collection. Our DT challenge this month was to use supplies we purchased but have neglected. I purchased the Mixed Vintage Hydrangea Blooms a while back and this is the first time I've opened the package. They were created with Double Head Pearl Stamens (my new favorite embellishment!!). I also used Cottage Roses, Lilies and Hip Rosebuds.


Tucked among the blooms are Mulberry Paper Leaves, Pearl Sprays, Crown Pins and Heart Shaped Pearl Beads. The butterflies are adorned with Self Adhesive Pearls and Double Head Pearl Stamens.




The tags pull out to reveal pretty papers.

    Beautiful cards Lisa, love the layered die cut background DP and it's a fabulous way to embellish the butterflies with the stamens. The extra tags tucked behind adds another lovely detail.

    Oh wow these are just gorgeous Lisa! Every little last bit of detail... Love the shimmer ... the lace and florals.. the papers are gorgeous! .... Just beautiful and I needed to see some very beautiful work today... it definitely helped to cheer me up. I lost another uncle yesterday morning! This is the 6th family member of mine to pass away since Easter Sunday... and 4 of those 6 were all brothers. I am losing all my uncles man... it's been very hard and rough on my family and I ... and now we are trying to raise money for this last uncle's funeral as he didn't have any life insurance or anything....wasn't married, no kids... it's been very hard .... I have never been through anything like this in my life... to lose so many people in just a few months.... it's horrible.... so that is why I haven't been around to visit in blogland for a bit... I haven't been able to or feeling well enough to really get online much. .... so thank you for being the first email that I saw in my inbox... and thank you for sharing such beautiful and uplifting creations to put a smile on my face.
