Happy Wednesday and happy August!! Wow, another month bites the dust!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and as always, the theme is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from. For my cards, I used papers from My Mind's Eye. A Spellbinders Nestabilities Square was layered over a Spellbinders Nestabilities Scalloped Square die.
Tucked under the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Sue Wilson Quilled Leaves and Paper Smooches Foilage 2. The ribbon is from DL.ART.

And the straw in among your flowers is such a novel idea; so have to steal that! These go down as one of my many favorite sets of cards made by your talented hands! ReplyDeleteHow can it be August already?! Wow, time flies~We finally just got my Dad transferred to the long term nursing facility this last week. It's been rough but in a few weeks, we hope he will adjust. It's hard as all the staff is new, the way they do things is different but it is in his home town so now more family and friends can come to visit to help lift his spirits. I am off this morning to go back hone again...so tired going back and forth but hopefully some up my visits can be stretched out a bit more since we will have others that will visit. Thanks for all the prayers and messages...I appreciate it more than you know~

ReplyDeleteHi, Lisa! Your rolled paper pieces are just amazing! Such a great design idea to bring that extra "shape" and texture to your already amazing garden creation. I especially like that on all your cards, you use relatively "plain" dies as a base for the other fabulous dies, in this case, the SB scallop square. It brings that special layered look with the pretty papers. I wanted to see a photo of the 2nd card. It has a "M" on it. Mr. and Mrs.? So many wonderful layers of doilies and die cuts, the flower doily is amazingly delicate, love!! Your shabby ribbon and flower arrangement are just as perfect as always.
