Scrapy Land Challenge #72 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme as always is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! You could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land.

For my cards, I created Christmas cards and these are about as CAS as I can get!! I wanted to keep adding but forced myself to stop :)

The papers are from Maja Designs. In the back, I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz Christmas Thinlet die. The poinsettia is a Spellbinders Poinsettia with Impression Obsession Pine Needles and Impression Obsession Pine Sprigs. Believe is a Die-Versions Sweet Wordlet Believe. The ribbons are from DL.ART.

Tucked behind the Spellbinders Nestabilities Rectangles and Spellbinders Nestabilities Scalloped Rectangles is a Sue Wilson Pierced Tag. Each one pulls out to reveal a Christmasy sentiment:

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Anything Goes project using a brand of die Scrapy Land carries. I can't wait to see what you create :)

  9. Lisa, I can almost hear the Christmas carols playing in the background and smell the Christmas cookies and Christmas tree as you were making this lovely set of Christmas cards! There, I managed to get Christmas in 4 times in one sentence! Tee Hee! Quite seriously, these cards are gorgeous, even in their simplicity! The poinsettia cluster is just so beautiful! It's amazing how you have completely changed the tone of the cards with your great paper choices! Love that plaid! Sending hugs!

  16. Someday you need to do a tutorial on how you make the cards with the tags. I so love that trick. The Tim Holtz Christmas media die cut with another paper behind is the perfect backdrop for the flower and the pine branch. I use that die so much that I bought a second one so I can cut two at a time. The focal images are perfectly framed. Great sentiments too.

  17. I would die of happiness if I could ever achieve HALF of what you manage when you make a card, Lisa! And just when I think I couldn't be any more in awe, you pull out a tag!! Girl, you are incredibly talented!! Hugs, Darnell

  18. They are BEAUTIFUL Lisa! I giggled when I read about (this is as CAS as I Get)! LOL So Funny... I know it's not your style and it can be hard to do when you add amazing layers to your projects... I struggled with it for awhile myself in the beginning... but now I find it way more easy to do... Certainly makes for quick cards when needed! hahaha -- Okay... back to your beautiful cards... I LOVE the tag designs you've added and the sweet vintage images... and omgosh the poinsettia's are fantastic!!! Beauty at it's finest!!! :) Have a lovely day sweet friend! :)
