Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and as always, our theme is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! Play along and you could be one of two winners!!
For my cards, I used papers from 49 and Market's Sand and Sea collection.
I used my favorite Tattered Lace Little Mermaid for these cards. Her tail was cut in sparkly paper, but it's hard to tell in the pictures.
The seaweed and coral are a combination of dies from Little B Mermaids and Little B Sealife sets, topped by a Impression Obsession Salt Life die.
Tucked under the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Concord & 9th Layering Leaves, LaLaLand Open Leaf Flourish and Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch 3. The banner is from Spellbinders Nautical Frame and Accents. The sentiment is from Ellen Hutson's Mermaid set.

Wow Lisa, these are so amazing! I just love how you use layer after layer of die cuts to tell a story with your cards! Your mermaid with the filigree tail is so elegant sitting among a ocean filled with all of her sea creature friends and beautiful water foliage! Stunning florals, and the sentiment tag running up the side is a fantastic design detail!!

The temperatures have dropped here quite quickly, so I have sadly started to pack away my new patio and start preparations for the cold seasons ahead. ReplyDeleteHow perfect is the mermaid for you and how beautiful she looks as the focal image. Love her glittery tail and soft coloring. Beautiful background dies to set the scene. Challenge at DD this go round is to use glitter. You should link this up.
