Happy Easter for Wild Orchid Crafts

Happy Sunday, everyone!! I hope you are having a wonderful first weekend of February :) It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog and I have a couple of Easter cards to share with you today featuring several flowers and embellishments found in the Wild Orchid Crafts Shop.


For my Easter cards, I used Trellis Roses, Chelsea Roses, Lilies, Sweetheart Blossoms, Daffodils, Tulips and Hip Rosebuds.The papers are from Maja Designs.


I used Mixed Paper Doilies in the background, along with Net Lace, Guipure Lace and Flat Back Pearl Trim. The frame (which is hard to see since I almost completely covered it up :) is from Memory Box.


Tucked among the flowers are Ivory Pearl Sprays, Crown Pins, Mulberry Paper Leaves and Mulberry Paper Leaves. I also added some cheesecloth.


I used Self-Adhesive Pearls in two sizes on the Spellbinders crosses. The banner is from Sue Wilson and the sentiment is from My Creative Time. Some close-ups:

    These are lovely, Miss Mermaid! I am teleported back to the 1950s when my mother would sew my sister and me new Easter dresses. We had white gloves and little hats.     Such lovely flowers, and I like the colors you've combined in each bouquet, with the dewey looking pearls tucked in. All the layer elements are beautiful combined together but I especially loved the lace look of the cross decorating that bottom corner. It reminds us of what we truly are celebrating. And you've included that element so well to complete the whole design. TFS & Hugs

    Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday my friend. It's been a cold weekend here in MN. I am so looking forward to some warmer temps. I normally don't mind the winter but I think with all the traveling, I'm just not diggin' it anymore :( I still can't believe it's Feb already....little Lacy Mae will be 3 next week. It seriously seems like she was just born. She is at such a FUN age! I just love these little ones to pieces~I wish they would stop growing :(

    Wow Lisa, these are just incredible!! I'm not usually an Easter card fan, but dang these sure do inspire me to jump into the holiday! The yellow is nothing short of brilliant, I can't help but smile at the bright and cheery tones! So many beautiful flowers, die cuts and elements that are perfectly placed and keep my eyes dancing across the screen! Bookmarked!!

    So as I am writing this comment, I look outside and see that it is snowing like crazy! How excited am I!! I haven't been outside for almost 3 weeks, but I'm thinking I'm heading out there this afternoon and grabbing some more snowy photos, before this wintery season comes to an end!     Pink and yellow are two of my favourite Easter colours. Love the shades you used and the beautiful floral arrangements on your cards. The beautiful embellished crosses are gorgeous and go so perfectly well with your card design. Love them both!
