First of all, I have to apologize for not leaving any comments today...my reading list of blogs I'm following is completely gone. I've had this happen periodically before and I would just refresh and it would return. But it's been down for almost 24 hours now and I'm not sure what to do about it. It doesn't matter what computer I use or if I empty the cache and try again. It is so frustrating. I'm not even two months into blogging, so I don't know if this happens alot, or how to go about getting it back. I am going to have to do some online searching for answers. If anyone knows a solution, I would so appreciate it if you could please let me know.
I made a super-quick easel card today for a little girl who will graduate kindergarten in a few weeks. The background paper is from DCWV's All Dressed Up stack. I cut the fish bowl from animal cart twice: once in plastic and again in white Core Couture. I cut the water layer and then embossed it with the Sizzix swirls folder in my Cuttlebug. The fish is also from Animal Kingdom. I made the hat and threaded some twine for a tassel. You can't tell from this pic, but I used foam tape to attach the water to the back of the bowl and then adhered the clear plastic over the front so the fishie is behind the plastic and it looks like she is swimming in a bowl. The bubble ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I used an EK Success punch for the base of the easel. Congrats was cut from Simply Sweet.
I am entering the card in Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #12 - Graduation
Hopefully I'll figure out this problem with my reading list and I'll be able to stop by and say hello soon. Have a great evening everyone :)
Lisa,
ReplyDeleteIt is not you, it's blogger. I contacted them and this is what they said:
"Try refreshing the page and they might come back. There is a known issue
with this and Blogger is still working on it. See this page, 4th item
down: http://knownissues.blogspot.com/search/label/outstanding Also, if you click on the Google Reader link toward the bottom of your Dashboard page, under "Tools and Resources" you can still read the updates. You can't make comments there though. I hope this helps."

Oh Geez, looks like Blogger now has problems with comments. Sorry about the duplicate wording...sigh http://visionsofpaper.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of adding the clear plastic for the bowl. So sorry that you are having trouble with your blog. I have never had this happen, but have you tried to subscribe to a blog and see if maybe the rest of your subscriptions return? Just a thought.
