Happy Wednesday, everyone! I haven't had a chance to get on the computer all day because of storms. I did spend some time in my craft room and made a yard sign, banner and safe sparklers (no fire required!) to celebrate Independence Day. I wanted to stage these outside to photograph them but Mother Nature did not want to cooperate :(
I used paper from DCWV and Core Couture. It's really shiny and glittery and you can't tell at all in the pic because of the awful lighting on this overcast day. The banner and 4th of July were cut from the Independence Day cart. The fireworks and sparklers are from Stand and Salute. I cut the sparklers out of cardboard first so they would have a strong base. You can wave them around and pretend they are real :)
I am entering these in the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteHello,
I am visiting your site as part of the decorate to celebrate challenge. I am so glad I did as your lovely sparkler wands are just perfect for a child's party or for a fairy make believe. the tip to cut it out of cardboard first is a great suggestion.
