Elephant Birthday Card

Happy Thursday, bloggers! I have a birthday card I made for a little boy. The cool colorful circle paper is from My Mind's Eye Deena's Penny Lane. Love this stack! The orange paper is from my stock and I embossed it with the Tim Holtz Sizzix retro circles folder. I inked all the edges with Colorbox red chalk. The banner was created on my Gypsy with George and Basic Shapes for the triangles and Base Camp for the letters. The adorable elephant is from Birthday Bash and I embossed him with Swiss dots. I added a foam dot behind the ear to give it some dimension and attached the elephant with foam dots also. The crystals were attached with my iRock.

I am entering the card in the following challenges:
On a side note, I was SO EXCITED to discover I won K Andrew's new stamp set, Freedom Isn't Free from the Memorial Day Blog Hop! Thank you so much Kristal! Her new stamps are so awesome and if you haven't checked them you, you definitely should (click HERE). They rock :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great evening :)

  21. Congrats Lisa! That is great you won! Those stamps are so cute, isn't K. Andrews awesome? This card is great! I love the colors and the embossing but I really like how you did the elephant, so cute!

Thanks for joining in on my first blog candy contest! And thank you very much for posting it on your side bar, that was so nice of you! I will fill you in on my VH1 story, it was years before they did the Flavor of Love or Rock of Love shows so it wasn't for anything like that. I couldn't imagine doing one of those kind of shows! This show had something to do with finding stars from the 80's that were out of the limelight. But not stars like Johnny Depp, more like the ones from cheesy 80's sitcoms that had a little fame. It was really a silly idea which is why I guess the show never went farther than an idea! lol! But, it's kind of neat being asked to see if I would come in for an audition. It makes for a fun story!

Good luck with the challenge Sunday!
