Need an Extra Hand?!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend! The sun is finally shining here, after a week of rain and wind and cold. Hopefully a nice, sunny Fall day :)

I have a short post today with a card for the FCCB challenge. For my card, I cut the monster from Wild Card and I used my Gypsy to make a shadow of him with an extra set of arms. I cut him twice, snipped off his arms and attached all with buttons. I used the Cuttlebug circles embossing folder, and I attached him with a homemade wobble so he shimmies and shakes! The twine is from The Twinery.
The inspiration for the card came from this awesome sentiment from K Andrew Designs new Pirate Tales and Fish Scales stamp set!
Aren't all the sayings fabulous??!! Plus, it has a matching image set with mermaids!! YAY! You'll see lots of those projects soon on my blog (as soon as I can color one that doesn't look like a first grader did it...and I'm not kidding at all!!) Kristal has eight fabulous new sets available for pre-order, both image sets and sentiments! Click HERE to see all of her new stamps! Plus, she is offering a free bonus set if you purchase $25 or more! So hurry while supplies last!!

I am entering this into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Challenge #82 - Purple People Eater!

  7. Like the whimsy card. Reminds me of something I heard about a woman telling her children "she wanted extra hands" and the children responded "so that you could vacuum & dust at the same time."

  8. Oh my, how incredible is this purple monster?! HA! You crack me right up... this is fabulous! The shadowing was genius as is, but then you went and added those buttons, fabulous embossing, and an angular design... you are just too much, my friend. So creative. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Lisa! :o) And I have no doubt your coloring is at least at 2nd grade level! (KIDDING!) Can't wait to see your creations with the new stamps! I know your coloring is (or will be) wonderful. :o)

    Hugs and blessings! :o)
