Paper Playtime Challenge #69

Happy Monday, everyone!! It's the first Monday in March, so that means it's time for a new Delicious Die Cuts Challenge at Paper Playtime!! Challenge #69 is Flowers (for the girls) using any die cutting machine!

I'm on the Say It With Sentiments DT, which is the third Monday of the month, but I love my die cutting machines and I wanted to support my Delicious Die Cuts sisters :) For this card, the background pink is from Core'dinations. The pink gingham paper is from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found 2 Rosy stack. I embossed the white paper with the Plum Blossom embossing folder. All of the edges are inked with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

The flower design is a Spellbinders Blossom Tags and Accents die. I attached each of the layers with foam tape for dimension.

The flowers along the bottom are from Flower Shoppe. The lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and Hobby Lobby. The banner die is a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner. "Hello Friend" is from K Andrew Designs Fashionable Friends stamp set:

Now it's your turn...head over to Paper Playtime and link up your Delicious Die Cuts with flowers (for the girls) project!! I can't wait to see what you create!! :)

  5. Oooh, this is exquisite! That flower is amazing! The oodles of layers are gorgeous and I adore the gingham paper you used. The embossing is a stunning backdrop and that bottom trims are incredible. It looks like the flowers are part of the lace... you made them THAT perfectly. :o) This is just so incredibly pretty. The pearls alongside the sentiment are such a delicate accent. **dreamy sigh** Lovely work as always, my friend!

  20. Lisa,
I love the card, it is so beautiful. Will you do a tutorial on the flowers. I want to see how they are made. I miss you all at getting cricky so much. When I saw it had been removed from the side of my fb page, I cried like a baby. Maybe someday when my health is better, I can come back. Please tell everyone that I love them and miss them.
    God Bless
