Decorate to Celebrate #29 - Birthday Party (for Little One)

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! It's time for another super-fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate!! For Challenge #29, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration or party supply for a BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR A CHILD!! Let's celebrate everything wonderful about growing up with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!! :)

For my child's birthday party, I created a centerpiece with a rosette wand, pinwheel and ice cream cone!! The kiddos can take out each item and play with them :)

The paper is from The Paper Studio's Uptown Flair stack. The background of the rosette wand is a Spellbinders Picot Edge Circle. The center circle is a Beaded Circle die. "Celebrate" is from K Andrew Designs Sweet July stamp set:

Click HERE to purchase your own set.

I glued two sides of the paper together to make the pinwheel. The stick is wrapped with red, black and green twine.

As soon as I saw these ice cream cones in the August 2012 issue of Scrapbooks, Etc., I knew I had to make them!! Aren't they fun??!! The cone was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. The circle is a Spellbinders Picot Edge circle and the sentiment is from K Andrew Designs Sweet July stamp set.

Here's a close-up of the "ice cream". I thought the paper looked like sprinkles :)

I am linking this up at Jaihart - Sundays Are Lovely #11

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Decorate to Celebrate to see the amazing projects by my talented design team sisters. Then link up you Birthday Party for a Little One decorations!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

  3. Perfect for a Summer Party. I like Pinwheels. My daughter attended a Luau Summer prty when younger. Hard to believe that my daughter will be 21 the end of this yr. We did not have a Princess party for her. Her themes over the yrs to name a few were: Snoopy, Scooby Doo, Mexican/Pinata, Harry Potter, Garfield in which I made a Garfield shaped cake and Music/Guitar in which I made a Guitar shaped cake. Not sure yet what I'll make for her 21st bday.
