Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - It's a Bug's Life

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! Friday means a new challenge at Little Scrap Pieces. This week the theme is It's a Bug's Life...we want to see a bug on your cards, layouts or projects :)


The black base paper is from The Paper Studio. The rest of the paper is from My Mind's Eye Dolled Up stack. The edges were distressed with a Zutter Distress-It-All. 'You Are So Special' is from JustRite's Grand Sentiments stamp set.


The base of the flower is a Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Large, followed by a Spellbinders Standard Circles Large die. The edges were sanded with a Tim Holtz Sanding Block to bring out the embossing. The ladybug was made from Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Standard Circles Small dies. The hearts were punched...not sure who made the punch - I've had it forever. The googly eyes are from Joann, and she was popped up with foam tape for dimension.

    My sweetest friend, this is so lovely! I adore the precious ladybug and the creative means with which you created her. Not surprisingly, I especially love that you used a heart punch for her dots. :o) The paper is so pretty and the JustRite sentiment is gorgeous! (I LOVE their stamps!)
