A Cheerful Heart is Good Medicine

Happy Friday!! I can't believe the weekend here already. Summer is flying by so fast, I can't keep up. I hope you are having a great week :)


I have wanted the Sizzix Bigz Accordion 3D Album die for so long but I could never find it in stock. I finally did and was so excited to pick it up, along with the Sizzix Bigz Frame and Label Bracket die, which coordinates with the Accordion Album. You will be seeing lots of projects using these dies from me...I hope you don't get tired of them :)


My first attempt was put together quickly because I want to get it in the mail to a friend who is going through a rough time right now. I kept it at two panels and didn't over-embellish because I wanted to be able to mail it relatively flat. The papers are from Heidi Grace's Daydream stack. The butterflies are Spellbinders In Flight dies. The flowers are Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies. The small labels are Spellbinders Labels 1 dies. The front was inked with Tim Holtz Scattered Straw distress ink, the left panel with Shabby Shutters and the right with Spun Sugar. The flower images in the background are from Tim Holtz's Nature's Element stamp set, and they were stamped with the same color as the background for a subtle effect. The front sentiment is from K Andrew Designs Scripture Sayings stamp set. Thinking of You and Sweet Friend are from JustRite Stampers Grand Sentiments stamp set.

    What a GORGEOUS card design! I love the openings and the unique look! The papers are FABULOUS and love the fun little flowers:) I am sure your friend will love it and your thoughtfulness!!
    Yeah, where has the time gone? It is crazy to think we are creepin up on Sept already!! The only good thing about that is our upcoming annual trip. I am really ready to go UNWIND a bit! Lol!

    I have seen the dies online but never really saw a card made...it is super cool! No- I will not tire of your projects made with the dies. :)
