Inspired by Tim's September 2013 Tag

Happy Friday the 13!! I hope you aren't superstitious ;)  I want to sincerely thank those of you who participated in my challenge at Do More With Less!! You guys are awesome and I appreciate you so much!! Thank you :)


I have a tag to share with you today, following along with Tim's September 2013 Tags. I pretty much followed his tutorial (HERE) except for the alphabet on the bottom. Tim used Distress Paint and I don't have any (yet ;). Instead, I heat embossed mine with Zing Vanilla Embossing Powder.

    Love~love~love this!!! A stunning, gorgeous, beautiful tag...did I mention I LOVE it...lol!!
    As for doing your challenge, I am embarrassed to say, I sent the info to the other blog hop friends and had every intention of doing it, but had ordered a special Spellbinders die just for the challenge, and it took it TEN days to get here from Houston to Michigan, no fault of the store...and it was too late..but hey, the thought was there...lol!! Have a great vacation my friend!!

    Gooooorgeous!!! What marvelous color!! This is ever a vison ...love the idea of less is more ..I did "use what you have" for two years with absolutely no new purchases allowed ..that was hard!! :)

    Lisa...your tag is beautiful! I love the background colors. The emboss resist you've done with the Vanilla Zing looks amazing against the more vivid colors of the background.     What a BEAUTIFUL tag Lisa! The colors you chose are just gorgeous! The embossing just pops ad the butterflies are simply fantastic!! LOVE it!!!

    I just discovered your blog and am LOVING your projects! I adore color and this tag made me drool (in a good way)! I love the boldness, yet the attention to detail.     My sweetest friend, at long last I am back to blogger! What a few days it's been. It's always a relief when I can come visit you. :o) Your tag is beyond exquisite! I simply cannot comprehend how you incorporate so many layers of beauty onto such a small surface. The colors, design, butterflies, sentiments... everything is lovely on its own, but extraordinary together. The white embossing looks amazing (and can easily pass for paint!). Even the ribbon is filled with detail! Thank you for always inspiring us, my dear Lisa. My cards feel like Mickey Mouse in comparison (no offense to Mickey!), but that is the beauty of crafting. So many styles, all lovely in their own ways. :o) Stunning creation!
