Craft It Up & Link It Up #19 - Thanksgiving

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It was nice fall weather here...60's and sunny. But the forecast calls for snow this week. Ugh.


It's time for another fun Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas. The challenge this week is Thanksgiving. Our sponsors are:

The inspiration for this card was the gorgeous vintage lace from my sweet friend Lee of Crafty Loops. Thanks again, Lee!! I love everything!! The base of the card is a Spellbinders Grand Large Lables. The next layer is a Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics A. The edges were distressed with a Zutter Distress-It-All. The next layer is a Spellbinders Fancy Weave die.


The doily is a Die Versions Ring of Hearts die. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension. A Spellbinders Standard Circles Small die was added next, followed by a Spellbinders Beaded Circles die. Both circle dies were inked with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. The flowers are Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies, also inked with Victorian Velvet. Happy Thanksgiving is from Stamping Scrapping, and it was inked with Vermillion Archival Ink.

    My sweetest friend, this is such a beautiful Thanksgiving card! That lace is stunning and a lovely inspiration indeed. Your layers are marvelous and I particularly love how you embellished the ring of hearts doily. :o) The flowers and sweet sparkly flourish are gorgeous. I also love your unique paper and color choices for a Thanksgiving card. :o) Beautifully done as always, my dear Lisa! I hope you have a happy day! It is supposed to snow today, which I'm not ready for! ;)

    Just GORGEOUS!!! The colors are beautiful- the fancy weave die is something I need to look into:) this is just fabulous with all the amazing layouts!! Fantastic design girl-you know how have us all drooling over your creations, lol!!

    It is COLD here.....it is suppose to get down to 10 degrees tonight-yuk!!! Come on its only Nov...:(

    Absolutely stunning card. Creative use of dies and colors! You really do rock dies!

    I just noticed that you use the distressing machine. I used that before at a friend's house...it is way easier than the hand distresser or a nail file!
