We Go Together LIke the Moon & Stars!!

Happy Wednesday!! This is my second post of the day. For my Decorate to Celebrate Father's Day post, please scroll down. It's my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Divas blog and I'm sharing a card with you today using the Perfect Pair stamp set :)


The papers are from DCWV's Stardust stack and were perfect with the die-cut moon, stars and sentiments!! A Tim Holtz Bigz Crescent Moon and Stars die was used, and the images were cut in gold foil. I hammered them a bit to give them a distressed look.


We Go Together Like...was embossed with gold embossing powder, as was...


The Moon & Stars. Both of these sentiments can be found on the Perfect Pair stamp set:


Aren't all of these sentiments fun??!!

    Oh my gosh - the hammered look you created is just "over the moon" - sorry, couldn't help myself! This really is a gorgeous look. The gold elements just pop against that dark blue background - what a beautiful card my friend!

    My sweetest friend, this the most amazing celestial card ever! :o) The paper is gorgeous and perfect for the scene... what a fantastic pair it makes with those die cuts! The hammering adds such texture and I love that you took the time to emboss the sentiments. :o) That is probably my favorite CDD stamp set! So man sweet possibilities!     Stunning. My first glimpse of the moon and I thought "Hmm, looks like hammered gold", then read that it is exactly what you did. That foil was perfect for this (and hammered gold is my fav jewelry too). Very effective with your pretty moon. This must be a new die, as I've not seen it yet (but then I've not been surfing much either !!!). TFS such a gorgeous card. Hugs.
