Thank You!!

Happy Friday!! Only a few more days until Christmas...I hope you are almost done with your shopping and preparations!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I took a step away from Christmas cards to create this thank you card.

The Cut Out dies are so much fun - they make a beautiful focal point on the front of a card. I cut the Thank You Cut Out die out of first the base paper and then the top layer, offsetting it a bit. Behind the Thank You, I added iridescent vellum to highlight the sentiment. A Whispers Lacey Dots die was tucked beneath the ribbon and adorned with gems. A Wee Petites Button die was added to the center of the bow. A Wee Petites Buggy Butterfly was covered in sugar coating and gems and popped up with foam tape for dimension.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Anything Goes
  2. DL.Art - December Linky
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope all of you have a very merry holiday season and that 2015 brings you much love and happiness :)

  18. Nice change of pace from the Christmas cards, but still most stunning. I'm unfamiliar with iridescent vellum...learned something new! Love the torn paper, the script background at the top and those fabulous die cuts. The colors are splendid as well. Beautiful card and great texture too. TFS & Merry Christmas. Hope your little snow storm wasn't too dreadful. It was in the hi 60-s today, and tomorrow 78 is predicted. I like that!!! SC is not that warm. Hugs
