Wishing You Happiness

Happy Tuesday!! I hope all of my US friends had a safe and happy Memorial Day!! Wow, can you believe it's almost June??!! The year is half over and I don't know where the first half went!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today using the new Whispers Vintage Sign from the May Release :)

I wanted these cards to look like the vintage signs were hanging in a flower garden. I used a combination of several Die-Versions dies. The papers are from Prima's Nature's Garden stack and the edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

For the backgrounds, I used my all-time favorite Whispers Bricks Background die. Seriously, I love this die so much...it's definitely one of my most-used dies. Beneath the cluster of flowers is a Whispers Ring of Hearts die.

The Vintage Sign was popped up with foam tape. The dragonfly is a Wee Petites Buggy die. It was cut twice, with the top layer covered with sugar coating. A Whispers Butterfly Garden die was added along the bottom. The butterflies were fussy-cut and covered with sugar coating.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1. DL.Art - May Linky
2. Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday

Thanks so much for stopping by :)

Lush flowers in pretty colors, with the vintage post...very definitely evokes the lovely summer flowers hanging in so many of the restored towns we've visited. Great use of these wonderful dies, and I'm loving the distressed looks on the 'iron work'. TFS & Hugs
