Celebrate!!

Happy Saturday!! I hope you are having a great weekend. It's a nice one here...temps in the mid-80's with low humidity. We even had an afternoon thunderstorm :)

I have a couple of cards to share with you today using gorgeous baby's breath sent to me by my sweet friend Samra!! I am in love with the baby's breath...it adds such a dreamy quality to the cards!! Thank you again, Samra :)

For these cards I started with a Tim Holtz Distressed Brick embossing folder. This bricks on this one were inked with TH Victorian Velvet Distress ink. The clock is a Kaisercraft Clock die. The banner is a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 1 die. It was stamped with a Darkroom Doors Script die and then heat embossed with Sparkle n Sprinkle White Embossing Powder. It was then inked with TH Spun Sugar Distress Ink. The sentiment tag is a LaLa Land Stitched Elements die. Celebrate is from Inspired by Stamping. The largest butterfly is a Memory Box Isabella die. The smaller butterflies are from Impression Obsession Butterfly Set.

This one is pretty much the same, except I switched up the inking...the bricks of this one were inked with TH Spun Sugar and the rest of the elements were inked with TH Victorian Velvet. Memory Box Chloe Stems were tucked among the Wild Orchid Crafts blooms. The gorgeous ribbon is Pink Champagne from DL.ART's Vintage Vinyard Bundle. Stampendous Frantage was sprinkled around and heat embossed from beneath the card.

Here's a close-up of the beautiful baby's breath.

I am entering these in the following challenges:

1) DL.ART - August Linky

  2. Hi Lisa, trying to do a little catchup visiting this evening, and so thrilled to see both of these delicious pink confections. The baby's breath added so much lightness to your beautiful flowers...looks like a florist's bouquet for sure! Love the pink bricks, and the brilliant use of the clock die cut as the background doily. Of course your usual perfectly colored & gorgeous ribbon & button trim, just more icing on the cake (erm...card!). Just beautiful. Glad you're having cooler weather. Hope we do soon. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs

  25. My sweetest friend, I apologize for the delay! My arm has been acting up, so I took a day away from Blogger. I did see a peek of these masterpieces on my phone and have been so anxious to leave you some love! They are GORGEOUS! I adored Samra's baby breath, too, and am delighted you have some to use! If I ever track some down, I will be blaming her. :o) You are right in the beauty they add.. so dreamy. Your design is gorgeous! I love both cards so much. The brick is stunning, the script butterflies, the ever-blossoming flowers... and I adore the timepiece tucked inside. The stitching and inking are so pretty and I am enamored with Diana's pretty ribbon. :o) Breathtakingly beautiful work as always, my dearest Lisa! Wishing you a twinkly night of happiness. :o)

    Hugs and blessings,

  27. Omg, I think these are some of my favorites Lisa! Amazing the color combination, paper choice and overall design is just breathtaking! I LOVE everything about it and all the details! Absolutely incredible girl!
Ofta, it was a busy wknd but fun! Arya was so darn cute at the wedding on Saturday! Poor little Lacy was sick Fri night and Saturday! She is still running a fever today all day of 102:( Poor baby! We ended up taking her with us to the 2nd wedding we attended since it was near my inlaw's so we could get Lacy to take in a good nap, a cool bath and try to break that fever~
We did end up leaving early and came home with her~I felt so bad! My daughter and her hubby had a hard time having to stay behind at the wedding since they were part of the bridal party but they knew she was in good hands~just felt so bad for their little peanut!
Crazy how things like this happen when you are away from home:(
Glad you had great weather! 80 and no humidity calls for a wonderful day! We really need rain~it is so dry here. My grass is starting to turn brown in areas. Yikes!
    Have a great evening Lisa!
