Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #27 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!! This is a scheduled post while I'm on vacation. I'll be by to visit you when I get back :) It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land!! The challenge this week is Anything Goes PLUS a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries...there are over 40 to choose from!!


The inspiration for these cards came from my new Tattered Lace Music Notes die. I accentuated it with PoppyStamps Melody Music dies.


For the background, I used Sizzex Mixed Media Thinlets dies. A Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight and Labels Eight were used for the center of the card. I sanded the edges to bring out the texture. The stamps are from My Craft Spot (sadly, no longer in business).


The butterflies are Memory Box Isabella dies and they were coated with sugar coating for a nice sparkle. Tucked among the flowers are Memory Box Botanical Stems dies. The button on the ribbon is a PoppyStamps Stitched Button die.

    Beautiful, Lisa! Your lovely cards remind me of picnicking in The Secret Garden and being entranced by magical music once inside the garden's walls. I especially like the elegant dies you have chosen, and the way you have nestled the sentiment within those walls of enchantment. Your colors sure give each card a different feel! XO

    Wow Lisa!!! Such two amazing quotes !!! I think at my niece and I'm totally in agree with them!!
    These cards are both just magical !! Love, love, love them!!! The diecuts are fantastic and the colours so sweet and elegant! Great textures and details!! I'm just in love with them!

    I love it when you post a new card. There is always so much to look at and admire. You have such a beautiful way of putting all the dies together with your beautiful flowers and ribbon. I love how you made the sentiments the star on these cards and of course, the two different colors look so different even though they are the same design. Beautiful!!!

    My sweetest friend, I have been so eager to leave you love because I adore every beautiful inch of these. Truly they are amongst my favorites from you. The designs are completely perfection... the musical notes soaring from the stunning bouquets, sweet butterflies and ribbon dancing to orchestral brilliance, and a unique background worth of spectacular sentiments.     Gorgeous!!! Love the layers and sentiment. The musical notes are so fun. Even though I am a pink/purple person, I am really drawn to the green/yellow version. Though, they are both amazing! Hope you are enjoying a fabulous vacation.
