DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #168 - Thanksgiving

Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a Thankful Thursday challenge at DL.ART. The theme for this challenge is "Thanksgiving." Use the code l01201 to receive 10% off your order at the DL.ART Shop.


For my card, I created a Thanksgiving ribbon turkey. I saw these on Pinterest, so I can't take any credit. I had to improvise and use a Die-Versions Build an Owl die for my turkey body :) I used several different ribbons from the DL.ART shop: Caribbean Coral from the Tropical Summer Bundle, Green Leaf from Fall Bundle, RAO Red from The Newspaper Bundle and Burnt Leaf from the Fall Bundle.


Grateful and the grass are My Creative Time dies. The background doily is a X-Cut die. The papers are old DCWV.

    Oh my gosh Lisa, this is just downright adorable!! I love the three colours of bows all intertwined together and the grass at the bottom really gives the card dimension. So many fun details! hugs :)

    Wheeeee! My sweetest friend, this brought the hugest smile to my heart! Your turkey is incredible! I love your improvisation... you are so creative to think of using the owl die. :o) Your ribbon feathers turned out perfectly, which is amazing. My attempt would have been a pinterest-fail, I'm sure!       Hi Lisa, I had liked this on FB, but was so far behind in visits, it took me a while to get over to view close up. This is just darling, and clever you to adapt your die to fit the motif. He makes a fantastic turkey, with his colorfully died ribbon tailfeathers. It's one thing to see an inspiration on Pinterest, but takes some skill to translate into your own, awesome look. You did it superbly. Love this! TFS & Hugs.
