Happy Easter to all my bloggy friends!! I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend!! I was able to sneak into my craft room yesterday to create a tag to play along with the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2016. One of my resolutions was to play along every month and so far, I'm three for three :)
I pretty much followed Tim's instructions HERE. I don't have any of the new Distress Crayons yet, so I used Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin. For the cut-outs, I used

ReplyDeleteYour Mar tag Butterflies are bee-utiful. I have the TH Brights Distress crayons and found them a bit difficult to use the first time on the tag I made and mine has more of a woodsy look than a bright look. Have a BEE-utiful Easter!

Wow wow!! Fabulous!!! Your interprretation of Tim's tag is just amazing!! Love so much the contrast of the grunge corrugate cardboard with the bright, colourful and happy background, the two butterflies look fantastic! Great blending of colours!! Wonderful texture!! And the sentiment is just perfect! You rock, my friend!! This is a great piece of art!!!

ReplyDeleteThis tag is gorgeous! I love the grungy feel it has... Love that dark deep browns with the beautiful pop of soft colors... so pretty! And I do have the distress crayons and you need to get them! They are addictive, just sayin. :)
