Spring Celebrate Card for Die-Versions

Happy Sunday, everyone!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and since Spring is just around the corner, I've created these cards to celebrate the new season using several Die-Versions dies.


The papers for these cards are from Prima. The base is a Whispers Morocco Background die and I layered it over clear plastic. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART.


A Whispers Birdhouse Branch die was cut three times for shading and layering. Celebrate and Thank You are Express Edges dies.


I am sad to say this will be my last post for the Die-Versions Design Team. It was a tough decision to step away, but life has just gotten so busy. I have truly enjoyed designing for Die-Versions the past three years and I want to thank you for your support :)

    You brought spring right into my computer view with the sweet bird and his home! Beautiful flowers and ribbons in a lovely spring color too. I know Die-Versions will miss you and all the wonderful cards you made. There are only so many hours in the day and I seem to be running out of them for all the things I want to do, so I do understand.

    These are some lovely cards my friend! That Moroccan background base is gorgeous! So elegant. ...and the edge dies are so cool. I have always wondered how those types of dies would look on a card and today seeing your cards, I now know and they look pretty awesome. I like the papers that you used and the florals are just gorgeous as always... and that ribbon is starting to become my favorite to see on projects! You have managed to get me very happy over that ribbon! lol .... love these cards Lisa! Sorry to see that you won't be with Die-versions anymore. I am sure you had a very good reason to walking away at this point in life but you were a true asset to that team. I am sure they were blessed and happy to have you as you were to be designing for them. Enjoy your day today my friend!!

    Beautifulllllll! That lattice work behind the birdhouse is extraordinarily awesome sauce! I love the darker color as well. And the pop of bright color with the bow and flowers is genius!     Amazing card! Love the moroccan background on ther clear plastic, it's so striking! LOve the contrast with the Do of the capital sentiment and the stunning birdhouse!     You're simply amazing at all the DT commitments you have, the challenges you enter, keeping up with comments. How do you find time to create these so beautiful cards? I like the idea of layering the acetate behind the Morocco grid with the other papers.     Wow Lisa, these are as brilliant and unique as they are beautiful!! The lattice front that peeks right through to the inside is utterly genius, I've never seen this done so wonderfully before! The colour palettes are gorgeous. I just adore all the light and airy peach tones, with the deep rich tones of the papers. How much do I love that sweet birdhouse, so fancy!
