This is my second post of the day...for the DL.ART November Linky, click HERE.
Happy Wednesday and first day of November!! Gosh, how did that happen??!! The first Wednesday of the month means a new challenge at Scrapy Land and as always, the theme is Anything Goes plus a brand of die Scrapy Land carries...there are over 55 to choose from. You could win one of two $10 gift certificates to shop at Scrapy Land.
For my cards, I used old Christmas papers from my stash...My Mind's Eye, maybe??
The trees in the background are Sizzix Tim Holtz Tree Line dies, layered for dimension. They were covered with a Deco Art Snow-Writer.
The poinsettia is a Spellbinders Poinsettia die, with stamens from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked beneath are Impression Obsession Pine Branch dies and Impression Obsession Pine Sprig dies. The crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.
The sled is a Memory Box Large Winter Sled die, covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice glitter. A Precious Marieke Snowflake Border is layered on the bottom of the card.

Your tiny tags are so sweet in these incredible cards, Miss Lisa! I love the glittery sled, and the gorgeous white poinsettias. You always manage to have so many layers and textures without making it look messy -- such a talent and artist's eye you have. Beautiful cards, my sweet friend! Thanks for all your help. I love the ribbon tutorial. xx

I got to get that sled die...it's going on my list for sure. The poinsettia is stunning and elegant! Love this whole arrangement my friend. As always, perfectly done!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Halloween! Did you have a lot of kids come by where you live? It was a little slower this year for us. They have a lot of schools that are having these indoor Halloween parties/gatherings for children to go to that are much safer.
Have a great day my friend~

Annie, just CASED one of your gorgeous cards, and I had to laugh that I only dream of making of card like yours. Also that your cards have to mailed out in a box because they would never fit in an envelope with all the beautiful ribbon and flowers. And the postage must cost you a FORTUNE. It is so true, because I know with my embellishments I run to the post office and with the padded envelopes I pay a lot for mailing cards so with all that you have - WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteAs always these cards are lovely :) Amazing details!!! The flower is stunning and I love all the sparkle!
ReplyDeleteHugs Agnieszka
