Scrapy Land Challenge #95 ~ Anything Goes

This is my second post of the day...for the DLART August Linky post, click HERE.

Hello, everyone and happy August!! How did that happen?? This year has flown by!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is Anything Goes Using a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from. If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land. Also...be sure to check out the exciting news at the end of this post :)


My fascination with Karen Burniston Dies continues :) This time, it's the Karen Burniston Spinner Square Pop-Up.


To decorate the front of the nautical-themed beachy card, I used Karen Burniston Tropical Scene for the waves, sandy hill with the palm trees, seashells and sun. The large palm tree is a Yvonne Creations Palm Tree die.


The grass is a combination of Frantic Stamper Shoreline Grass and Impression Obsession Small Grass dies. The shore birds are Impression Obsession Shore Birds.


The clouds are Memory Box Stitched Cloud Trio dies and they were covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Super Thick White Embossing Powder. Isn't the texture fabulous??!! When you open the card, the beautiful mermaid appears...




There she is :) To decorate the inside of the card, I used Die-Versions Whispers Lighthouse, Impression Obsession Mini Nautical Set and Frantic Stamper Stitched Photo Cards dies.


The sentiment is a Impression Obsession You're Mermazing die. The beautiful Karen Burniston Princess and Mermaid die is resting on a Taylored Expressions Surfboard die.

    Lisa, I am speechless! (and that takes some doing). LOL You are the queen of layering dies and creating wondrous elements in every inch of your creations.     WOW!!! This is incredible Lisa! I love the papers and fun details on this one. The beach theme is perfect and this makes me want to run off to the beach~ I love your adorable mermaids, palm tree and all the wonderful cuts...I could sit and look at this all day! Beautiful, beautiful my friend!!

    Awesome card Lisa!!! So much going on and so tropical! I love this Karen Burniston card die, I actually purchased that one a few months ago but I haven't used it yet LOL! We actually have been in Florida for Ruby's birthday and we had sooooooo much fun!!! Lot's of swimming in the pool going to the beach, movies, a community yard sale, I even made strawberry rhubarb jam.

    I too love Karen Burniston pop up dies, they are easy to assemble and so sweet!!
    Amazing beach, full of fabulous details, there are a lot of things to see here! LOVE the textured clouds!! The palm trees, the waves, the mermaids... and all the plants and animal, the lighthouse.... all fabulous!!! Sunny colours and papers... a super Summer card set!! Very well done!!

    Oh Wow aren't these amazing! So tropical and inviting!!! You did such an amazing job my friend! All these elements to build up this gorgeous scene took time I know... and you did an awesome job creating that perfect scene to make me want to dive into the water, put my toes in the sand, kick my feet up and relax and have a nice adult beverage in a coconut!     Oh WOW!! These beachy cards are so awesome! I love all the details you put into each one! I love the embossing powder on the clouds, they are gorgeous! You used so many wonderfully nautical and beach related dies! These look like children books to me! Funny I just got the You're Mermazing die too! I love it!     Just an awesome use of so many splendidly themed dies. They are perfect on this wonderful beach card.
