Scrapy Land Challenge #108 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is as always, Anything Goes Using a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land.


I had a request for a Valentine's Day card similar to the Father's Day card I made HERE. I used papers from Maja Designs and My Mind's Eye to recreate the cards.


The bottom layer is a Prima Vintage Clock. Layered on top is a Sue Wilson Pierced Tags, followed by a Avery Elle A Tag for All. I used a Poppystamps Petite Four Stitched Borders behind a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 2.


The hearts are Elizabeth Craft Stitched Heart , popped up with foam tape. Tucked beneath the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage, Cherry Lynn Designs Floral Bouquet and Cherry Lynn Designs Floral Bouquet dies. The ribbon is from DL.ART. Spellbinders Address Book and Avery Elle Dotted were used for the sentiments.

    I loved the original Father's Day card Lisa and I love these too! What a fabulous design with all the gorgeous layers and die cuts. The bold colours and contrasts are striking and the texture is amazing!

    Aren't these oh-so-lovely with their combination of rustic and romance elements! Such subtle changes with the touches of (black?) ink on the dark roses in the card with the plain heart. I especially like your revelation that a variety in designer papers changes the whole feel of a project. Lisa, your layering style always intrigues me. Sometimes, it's a game of hide n seek to find all the dies you've used so I can get new ideas for how to use them in my own projects. Sigh - so gorgeous!     My sweetest friend, these Valentines are everything beautiful! The layers of sweet elements are perfection and I love the color palette so much! It makes the layers all the more striking.
