Lavinia World Challenge #6 ~ Anything Goes

Hello everyone and happy first day of August!! Wow, where did the summer go?? It’s time for a new Lavinia World Challenge featuring Lavinia stamps and papers. We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps (either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps).

For my projects, I used Lavinia Timeless papers. See a Fairy Make a Wish was stamped with Old Paper Distress Oxide in the background.

The adorable Fox 1 (Kernal) was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The beautiful Oracle and her pet crow from the Crow Set were also stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The Talk to the Moon sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Lavinia World Challenge #4

Hello everyone and happy 4th of July to my friends in the USA!! It’s time for a new Lavinia World Challenge featuring Lavinia stamps and papers. We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps (either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps). Details are found under the "rules" tab on the Challenge Blog.

For my projects, I used a circle mask for the moon and then applied Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet for the background, and then flicked some water on the cards.

While the mask was still on, I used Distress Oxide Broken China to stamp the Embrace Your Dreams sentiment. After removing the mask, I used Versafine Clair Golden Meadow to stamp the Moon.  Next were the Hanging Lanterns and I filled in the circle using a Uni-Ball Pen Signo Gel - White, which I also used for stars.

Using Versafine Clair Nocturne, I stamped the Fir Tree 1 and Forest Scene.

Maka  was also stamped with Nocturne. For the hills, I tore paper and then inked the edges with Wilted Violet and a little of the Nocturne for depth.

Lavinia World Challenge #1

Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever Lavinia World Challenge featuring Lavinia stamps and papers. We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps (either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps). Details are found under the "rules" tab on the Challenge Blog.

For my projects, I used the gorgeous Rue stamp. She was heat embossed with black embossing powder and her wings were heat embossed with silver and then cut out for some dimension.

I used Distress Oxides for the background, several dies that can be found at Scrapy Land, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and ribbon from DL.ART.

Behind Rue, I stamped a Forest Scene die and heat embossed it with a green shimmer.

Here you can see the texture from the heat embossing and the sparkle on her wings.

For the sentiment, I used the Fairy Happy Birthday sentiment embossed in silver.

Your name/project will be entered into the calculation for the Designer's Choice Winner twice. (For example, if three designers choose your project as their favorite, then that project will have a total of six votes!)
