Happy Sunday evening, bloggers! I hope you all had a wonderful, safe, relaxing weekend. I had so much fun participating in my first hop, the Grillin' & Chillin' Bug Hop and I want to thank all my fellow hopees (kinda made that word up) for their inspiration and encouragement!
I hope you all had the chance to hop along with us, but if you didn't, you still have another day to visit all the blogs, see some creative and inspiring projects from truly talented crafters, and enter to win some fabulous prizes along the way. Click
HERE for more details.
Our Grillin' & Chillin' Bug Hop hostess, Barb of
BugBites, is sponsoring a Bug Hop challenge once you visit all the blogs and collect the hidden critters along the way. You can post a project for the chance to win Kate's ABC's.
So, since this is a BUG Hop, I thought I'd create a little something for all the bugs of the world :)
The background of the card is from Prima Marketing's Breathe collection stack. The butterfly net was cut from the Camp Out cart. The butterflies are from Picturesque with added pearl accents, and the spider is from Designer's Calendar. The rest of the bugs are from Create a Critter, and I added foam dots behind them to add dimension. The spider web is from the Michaels $1 bin, and I embossed it with holographic powder. "Bugs revenge" is from a letter stamp set, and "help" is stick-on letters.
I had to create the little guy in the net by hand because I didn't have any cuts that would work, and I added googly eyes on him for that wide-eyed, frightened look :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and as always for your sweet comments! I truly appreciate them!!
